Size Does Matter! This Is Why So Many Women Go for a Boob Job In The UK

It’s no wonder that women want well-formed breasts because most men admire women with near perfect vital statistics. Too many women put up with using padded bras to achieve that sexy look, making their breasts look fuller and bigger, only to feel disappointed when they take out the gel fillets and remove the bra. Well, it’s no longer necessary to put up with this. The days have passed when women just relied on padded bras to get their breasts look right. Their reasons have also changed; today, women don’t just want to look sexy in their bra. Instead, the reason for their breast enlargement is to look more attractive with the bra on or the bra off! This increases their self-confidence and their quality of life. This relates to women of all ages who simply want to feel good about themselves.

Thanks to breast augmentation, women are better able to choose what sort of cup size they want to attain. Breast augmentation or breast enlargement surgery, popularly known as a Boob Job in the UK, has become the single most popular cosmetic procedure helping women regain their self-confidence. Aesthetic surgeons use saline or more commonly silicone gel implants as part of breast augmentation, which has virtually made it possible for women to achieve the perfect size of their breasts. Your surgeon will show you anonymous before and after photos of breasts before and after their breast implants. He will also show you the sort of results you might attain using the latest high tech 3D body scanner, to produce a 3D view of your own breasts on your own body, simulating the results with specific implants. There is no better way in the UK to demonstrate the voluptuous effects from this type of surgery.

Saline Vs Silicone - Breast Implants

1. Saline Implants: The saline-filled implants are of two types. First are the fixed volume implant, that is filled with saline at the time of implantation and the other is an adjustable volume implants, which have the potential for further postoperative adjustment. A disadvantage to this type of implant is that it feels less natural.

2. Silicone Gel Implants: They come pre-filled which means there’s no additional fill to be added, and a lower risk of complications from infection. Discuss Your Goals With The Surgeon Beforehand.

It is well accepted that a Boob Job here in the UK is now being adopted by tens of thousands of women each year. What size you want is a matter for careful discussion. When it comes to deciding what size of breasts you want, it is imperative to set realistic expectations. You have to discuss your reasons with your surgeon so he could give you the right options by determining the proportions of your frame and give you the possible options based on the data he gathers from his clinical assessment. However, he will analyze and take in to account many factors relating to your body, your breasts, and tissue characteristics. He will acquire the in-depth measurements of your breasts including nipple position, the quality of the skin, your breast shape and size. After taking all the measurements, the surgeon will discuss the best breast implant he recommends for your surgery.

Beware Of The Bad Boob Job Surgeons In The UK

Breast augmentation will usually take women to the height of excitement and the possibility of a bad breast augmentation result is not what they would want to think about. But sadly that is a reality, with bad Boob Jobs happening not only abroad but also in the UK. Poor results either in the short or long terms are so commonplace nowadays that successful ones are becoming the exception rather than the rule. The reason is usually from making the wrong choice of cosmetic surgeon.

While selecting a cosmetic surgeon, it is highly recommended by the UK Government regulators that you choose the aesthetic surgeon who is certified for performing cosmetic surgeries in that area of practice. The stringent certification scheme was set up for all Plastic Cosmetic and Breast Surgeons, by the Royal College of Surgeons, under the instructions of Sir Bruce Keogh, in 2016. The scheme weeds out the poorly qualified, poorly trained, occasional surgeons who want to do this type of surgery. However, the scheme is still voluntary! Bit selecting a certified surgeons lets you know you are seeing an expert, and that the surgeon has proper a medical and surgical background, complete medical and surgical qualifications and audited results to perform breast implant surgery. Of course, someone like Mr. Turton ticked all the necessary boxes immediately on applying for certification, and was therefore the first Specialist Breast Surgeon in the UK to be Certified for Cosmetic Breast Surgery.

Reasons Why Some Patients Now Choose Breast Implant Removal!

Breast augmentation is one of the most exciting procedures that can assist a woman to feel more confident about her appearance. By approaching the right surgeon, you can attain the most satisfying results. Nevertheless, not all breast implant operations are without complications, sometimes related to poor planning, technical problems or unwanted changes with the implants later on. Sometimes it becomes crucial to fix and remove the breast implants – here are some of those reasons:

Capsular Contracture:

There are several breast augmentation complications that may occur, but this one is the most commonly reported in studies that can result in the need for Replacement Breast Implant Surgery, or Breast Implant Removal in the UK, Europe or the USA. It is caused by the improper development of the capsule that forms around the implant. In nearly 20-25 percent of people, the capsule either doesn’t develop properly (usually becoming too tight) or it over-develops (often by thickening and contracting). This is something that makes the surgery less effective, and affects the breast shape and feel. When that occurs, you have to consider the removal of the breast implant and the surrounding capsule.

Rupture & Leakage:

As you know, most breast implants are made of a cohesive silicone gel surrounded by a silicone plastic balloon (called the shell). Although these are very strong at the point of manufacture and at the time of initial implant placement, the implant can weaken with age related changes in the body. It is therefore evident that they can rupture and even leak in some cases. This rupture can be silent, or it can distort the shape as well as the size of the breast. It can cause a lump in the breast or the lymph nodes. Any change in the appearance of your boobs should always be checked by a specialist. Implants that are 10 years or older should be considered for renewal. The median rupture rate at around 10 years is approximately 10 percent, rising even higher thereafter, and most are silent and would only be recognized on an MRI scan. Having your implants removed and replaced at 10 years must surely be better than waiting for a complication.

Infection:

This is another complication that may necessitate Breast Implant Removal. Like other surgical operations, breast implant surgery also carries a small risk of infection and although uncommon, it can also occur at any point. The risk of contamination is greatest at the time when the implants are first placed. Patients who have breast implant surgery with Mr Turton, in Leeds, are fortunate as he uses a 14-point plan to reduce infection risk, but this is not universal across the UK. Once past the 3-month mark after surgery, infection is very rare indeed. But, occasionally, infection can occur years later, from a source of bacteria elsewhere in the body like a dental abscess, or root canal treatment, or from an episode of mastitis related to pregnancy. Whilst minor infections on the skin can be readily treated, infection on the surface of an implant is almost impossible to eradicate with antibiotics, and thus the preference would be to choose breast implant removal.

Seroma:

This is a fluid collection around a breast implant that usually makes the breast look suddenly bigger. When it occurs out of the blue, more than a year after breast implants were first inserted, the fluid has usually formed as a reaction to another problem such as implant rupture, a breast injury, or infection. But, be aware that in 10% of cases of seroma, it can indicate a more serious problem such as implant lymphoma (ALCL), so it must not be ignored. Early ALCL can be treated very successfully with full removal of the capsule and implant, so always see a specialist straightaway if you have any of these rare problems. In the UK and Europe, the majority of breast implants that are used are textured, albeit to different degrees of roughness, and current research knowledge reveals that this type of textured implant has an overall (average) risk of around 1 in 30,000. This is therefore not common, but looking more closely at the data, the most textured seem to have a higher chance of between 1 in 1000 and 1 in 10,000, and the lesser textured a lower chance of around 1 in 30,000 to 1 in 60,000! There is an even lower risk still with smooth surfaced implants, which have grown in popularity, and are also the most popular type used in the USA, but are not suitable for every one.
In summary, if you are considering replacement of your implants, or if you prefer Breast Implant Removal in the UK or in Europe, then you should approach a proficient and experienced surgeon. For this, you can usually get help from the internet but you must make sure you find the right surgeon who you can trust and from whom you can get effective treatment!

Breast Enlargement Surgery, Implant Renewal or Implant Removal – Requirements For Women To Gain Their Self-Confidence

Perfectly shaped or full natural breasts are the desire for most women. It helps to enhance attractiveness and beauty, gives a boost to self-confidence and offers a positive self-image. In some cases, often owing to the affects of childbirth, weight loss, ageing or simply genetics women are not satisfied with their breast size, shape or the development of emptiness, sagging or drooping.

Breast Implant Surgery is often a one-stop solution that is the best option to address small size and emptiness in an effective manner. Women with sagging and drooping breasts are likely to need an uplift either alone or in combination with Breast Implants, to create more fullness. Breast implant surgery can be adjusted to your dimensions helping to optimize your breast shape and size, to create better proportions between the upper and lower body.  For those who are looking at having their breast implants replaced at the 10-year mark, which is done for safety, or to simply adjust the size, this might be done as a simple exchange or in combination with a breast lift. This is a good time for a thorough cosmetic breast evaluation, to check for capsular contraction, to check your lymph nodes, to reassess proportions and see if you might benefit from a slightly fuller or even smaller implant, a lighter weight product or a different implant profile. Getting up to date with the latest breast and implant health related information from a Specialist is also very important.
Finally, there are some women opting for breast implant removal without replacement, and this can include a full or partial capsulectomy for histology if needed. When the implants aren’t replaced, the surgery could be paired with a breast lift if you are suitable, as the breasts will likely droop or sag more after the implant removal. There are many factors to be discussed with your breast surgeon in advance of implant removal and there are big advantages to having this surgery done by a specialist. It begins with removing the capsule-like scar tissue that surrounds the implant before removing the implant itself, and this helps to restore natural softness and distensibility to the breast. The capsule is sent for histopathology in most cases where it is thickened for extra checks. The removed implant can then be examined and photographed if needed.

If you would like to find an expert breast surgeon to carry out your breast enlargement, implant renewal or an implant removal operation, find out more from https://CosmeticBreastSurgeon.co.uk. The surgery usually takes under an hour, and is done using general anesthesia with a one-night stay for your comfort.

Whenever you are considering a boob job, the cost is likely to play a vital part in your decision making process. For this aspect, you should carry out thorough research, asking friends who have had it done, your own GP, and even researching over the internet to find the best suited option for you. Find out exactly what the procedure cost includes so that you can make a confident decision. Find out how good is your surgeon and the hospital, and how specialized are they.
